Aragonite is a calcium carbonate that generally forms in sedimentary deposits and basalts. It takes its name from the province ofAragon in Spain where it was discovered in the 1700s. Its translucent hues range from white to orange, grey, blue and green.
Stone of anchorage, the Aragonite is used in lithotherapy to help to calm the pains related to the bones. It symbolizes tolerance and patience.
