Epidote Prehnitis is a variety of Prehnitis that naturally contains Epidote inclusions. Prehnite is a calcium-aluminium silicate, whose colours generally vary from white to green through yellow. It was baptized in 1813 by Abraham Gottlob Werner in tribute to Dutch colonel Hendrik Von Prehn, whom he considered to be the discoverer of the Prehnite at the end of the 18th century in South Africa. This atypical mineral is prospected mainly in Mali, Australia, China, India and Mexico.
Epidote is a mineral belonging to the Silicate family. It is distinguished by its crystallization in elongated prisms and its colours evolving from deep green to golden yellow. Quality specimens are found in France, Madagascar, Mali and the USA.
The Prehnite on Epidote combines the energies and virtues of both minerals. In lithotherapy, Prehnitis is considered a stone of protection, healing and soothing. It is known to channel agitation and nervousness and encourage positive thoughts. Its high vibrations would calm, relax and soothe the Spirit, creating a serene interior environment. His energies would also contribute to the energetic purification of subtle bodies and the elimination of emotional toxins. This stone is also known for stimulating memory and promoting mental clarity. Related to the Chakras of the Heart and Solar Plexus, Prehnite symbolizes serenity and harmony.
The Epidote is recognized as a protective stone acting as a bulwark against harmful waves. It would restore strength, courage and will, while helping to overcome fears and phobias. In connection with the Chakra of the Heart, she works to restore emotional balance and self-confidence. The Epidote is an ideal companion for deep meditation and relaxation sessions. It is a symbol of strength and prosperity.
To preserve the quality and beauty of Prehnite on Epidote, we recommend avoiding contact with chemicals and limiting exposure to direct sunlight. For cleaning, warm water or a moistened soft cloth are the best option. After gently cleaning and rinse the stone, make sure to dry it well.
