Prehnite is a rather rare mineral which belongs to the group of silicates. Its hues vary from white to green through yellow. Discovered around the 1800s, its name is a tribute to the Dutch commander Hendrik Von Prehn, who was wrongly thought to be the discoverer.
In lithotherapy prehnite is reputed to reduce agitation and stimulate memory and healing. It symbolizes calm and gentleness.Epidote is the stone of courage, strength and symbolizes patience and gratitude.
